Museum Update – Permanent Vacation 01

Posted in All, Travel

Time flies when you are having fun and driving 60 hours in four days and preparing for performances and workshops and running a portable museum.  Wheph!

So I’ll start from the beginning … Thanks to Collin, Aston and Denton we had a great opening off St Marys Road on the 16th of July. The exhibition was well received and for my part many good conversations were had.

With only 48hrs or so for preparations for departure the Museum headed out to participate in Mondo Monde a New Media Arts festival  in Sackville New Brunswick.

The mechanical troubles experienced on the way to Saskatoon returned unsurprisingly. The Museum rolled along happily enough at 75kph but this created a bit  of a mathematical challenge as to weather one can drive 3500 km in 4 days at 75kph. It turned out to be possible as I safely rolled into Sackville at 11pm on the 22nd of July.

The Subsequent week promised performances, workshops and exhibitions …
